The Nursery

A dense area in the camp, thorn bushes surrounding it in protective ways

SmokeKit padded into the nursery slowly, looking around. She lied down in a nest, blinking sleepily. The kit curled up, falling into a deep sleep.

*Stumpkit ran in, giggling giddily Smokekit! Wanna play? Hawkclaw's gonna take me out of the camp! *He giggled jumping onto Smokekit*

The kit jumped, eyes wide with surprise and fur fluffed up from Stumpkit's sudden appearance. She blinked at the kit, looking down for several seconds. "O-okay..." She pushed Stumpkit off so she could sit up.

*He stepped back, suddenly looking guilty* Were you sleeping?..

Looking at him, she nodded. "It's fine though." SmokeKit replied quickly.

*He brightened, jumping up and down* Yay! *He giggled* So do you wanna come?

Smoke smiled faintly. "Out of camp?" Thinking to herself, she nodded. "Okay! I haven't been out of camp before..."

*He squeaked excitedly* It's really big! *He ran out of the Nursery, into the clearing.*

She followed him, going at a trotting pace.

Greykit mewled and squirmed as newborns do, only much more loudly. She followed the scent of her mothers milk and weaseled her way in between her sister and brothers.

Halfkit grudgingly allowed Greykit in between her and her brothers; she was very territorial of things she wanted already.

The small white and grey kit settled her self between Halfkit and Bigkitkit, wiggling to create room for herself, she only wound up pushing Halfkit out of the way because of how big Bigkit was.

The kits white and grey muzzle opened to furious mewls, outraged her place had been taken she squirms around climbing on her littermates.

Greykit squealed loudly as Halfkit crawled over top of her.

BigKit pushes the others away with his big paws.

Greykit mewled at the top of her lungs as Bigkits paw contacted with her face. She gummed on his paw and crawled back under him.

Blackspirit sighed - kits were annoying. She spread out slightly, trying to allow more room for all of them.

BigKit purred and kicked out at GrayKit.

Greykit, being the runt, easily slid underneath Bigkit and suckled on her mother.

BigKit recognizing Gray was under him dropped all of his wheight, practically lying on his sister.

Blackspirit flicked her ears, annoyed, bent down and lifted Bigkit gently off of Greykit. She set him down.

Smelling the opportunity, Halfkit squirmed into Bigkit's spot.

Greykit thought relived to have Bigkit off of her now had her bigger sister on her. The small kit squirmed away and curled up in her mothers neck fur, purring as she did.

BigKit slowly made his way over to HalfKit and mewled pitifully as he listened to her using his spot.
