| Here is one. I don't usually write happy poems, but I was alone, and no one was trying to bring me down when I wrote this.. =\
Shout Your Worries Shout your worries to the sky! Hope that all the passers by Will hear your yell, will hear your cry And be able to sympathize So shout your worries to the sky
Scream your fears into the sea! And maybe you will find the key Stop never-ending misery A hero, that is what you'll be So scream your fears into the sea
Sing your dreams into the ground! Look at what is to be found Beauty, bliss, they're all around Reach up high, upward you'll bound So sing your dreams into the ground
Shout your worries to the sky! And then you'll see no need to lie You'll know no reason to be sly And all you know will wonder why You shout your worries to the sky
Will post more later.

| I haven't been writing as much as usual, but music was on the mind today, so this came out:
Music Everyone has a song inside A little flame that keeps on burning Billowing gusts of wind keep blowing But the fire inside will keep on glowing Ashes will fly, light will twist But not one thing will go amiss Set it free, it won't come back Your smuggling body keeps it trapped There is no latch to open and close No "Out the window, there it goes!" Will reach your ears while you're alive Because no song can look outside But fear not, all will get their chance By bullet, blade or passing glance One by one, population diminish And all at once your song will finish

| Photographs I can't take photos anymore Not now that the world's turned around Your only records are picture and lore Now that life is upside down Your laugh no longer cleans the air Your smile haunts my mind My memories I cannot share Should I venture? Risk to find? Or let you fade out of our heads I can't stand to lose you again Like an onion, pictures shed You are lost where no man's been Now you're gone, I can't be sure Why I take photos anymore
Not my best. :3 | |

| Thank you. :3
The Demon Inside It wasn’t me who woke you up screaming in the middle of the night Or me hoisting blame among the innocent I am not the lie that penetrates your shields Nor the horror that lurks within your hearts
You think me the cause of the power you crave The source of the lust you desire I do not create, but buy and provide For I am the demon inside

| Empty Handed
The guilty thoughts inside my head I'm telling you they want me dead They're saying innocent I'm not That up to me the world's caught They're telling me that I'm to blame I'm forced to play their nasty game Unluckily I'm empty handed To make a stronger mark they've banded Since they're aware that they alone Have the right to claim my throne But I know now what I'm fighting for And refuse to listen anymore

| Liar
You led me here: Where the darkness drapes Around us both. I followed you I trusted you. You said you cared.
Liar.
You led me into the dusty corner, the edge of the world. You knew the cliff would crumble underneath our weight. My weight. You knew.
You turned around And waited for me to fall. You didn't push me. You wouldn't dare. But you didn't cry. You didn't blink When the cliff crumbled.
And now When you find me alive You ask: "Why?" But in reply I can only repeat Your question.
I don't care That you lied. I didn't not forget But I forgave. It didn't matter. It didn't matter That you didn't push me When we came so close to death.
You didn't fall.
I couldn't feel your embrace Your arms didn't hold me. You didn't whisper "We won't die." You didn't even say "It'll be quick."
You changed me. You became me. I became you. We became each other Until you ripped us apart.
Perhaps I am better. Perhaps it is because I loved you That I can't stand To leave you there Bleeding.
Now you choke on the words "I'm sorry." I don't know why Tears sting my face When you stop breathing And your body grows cold. You weren't sorry. You didn't care. You lied.
There is no joy in this revenge. There is no regret When I build the fire That will swallow you. I don't feel sorry For I know You deserve it.
But I just can't Allow myself To fall into another trap. The cliff will only crumble once. I can't cry anymore For the world is free From whatever wounds you have inflicted. I have done a good thing.
I learn to live My own life. People chase me "Murderer! "Murderer!"
You didn't lie to them.
But I keep my promise To myself. I do not cry. I do not run. I do not listen. You didn't care. And neither can I.
They stop. They tumble, one by one, off of the cliff Where the shadows cloak.
I can't help but wonder Is this your way Of saying sorry? By killing those Who are hurting me?
It doesn't work. I can't wait any longer. I said I would learn to live My own life. I can't. You took that from me Along with all else.
You grasp me With open arms And I can't help but whisper "I missed you." And you can't help But murmer back "I'm sorry."

| The Worker
They say the museum worker's act is like some sort of quarry Her breath would fall in ragged gasps that somehow never varied Visitors would not take her tour for it meant certain death It was this rumor that gave birth to such a frightful quest
The plan was much too simple but its purpose not obtuse To tear down the wall that was the worker's rage gone loose They called construction crews who agreed it could be done And thus began the battle that would never go un-won
The worker's house was older than most museum artifacts Its filthiness one reason for the worker's cataracts The wrecking ball swung up then down while she could only watch The villains cheered a ghastly shout for at last the beast was caught!
When the house fell down to be rebuilt with brick and mortar She hung a sign over her heart and called it out of order She lost her job and then her life but others felt no grief In fact they felt her final brief as something like relief

| Nothing to Me
You claimed I was lucky To not have insomnia or depression or ADD. But you aren't the only one Who can't sleep at night.
You said no one listened Because you were just a kid. So I laughed and sneered: "Kids have changed the world."
I saw you drooling over my life So I threw it away. If it means something to you It means nothing to me.

| Inspired by Holo's poem:
Dreams Are Lies
Dreams are lies.
Dreams are mirrored fictions of the lives we've lived revised.
Dreams are fears that we've forgotten thrown into the skies.
Dreams are caterpillars that have grown to butterflies.
Dreams are lingering farewells and rushed and quick good-byes.
Dreams are desperate screams and each one of our loved ones' cries.
Dreams are single strangers and they're taking people's lives.
Dreams are Easter eggs and pink and purple dyes.
Dreams are taunts and jeers and shouts and thoughts and hope defied.
Dreams are brand new cars without a manual or guide.
Dreams are where all people come when they have got to hide.
Dreams are suns while setting without a plan to rise.
Dreams are carnivals where someone else has won the prize.
Dreams are people picking on someone who's not their size.
Dreams are knots in trees that have unwound and are untied.
Dreams are lies. | |
