Polarpaw swivled her ears, glancing at Darkstar. She finally understood that he wanted Copperpaw and herself to show him what they could do. She slowly go into a crouch and eyed Copperpaw.

"No counter attack?" he asked, sounding a bit disappointed. He then suddenly dropped low and slid under her belly.

Polarpaw kicked at him while he knocked her over. She twisted onto her paws, then launched herself at him.

Darkstar rolled over, and leaped to his paws. He raced around her in circles.

Polarpaw didn't spin around to watch him, she kept her eyes on him, and turned when she thought he might try something.

She lets go landing hard with a soft thump. She groans in pain.

Polarpaw rubbed her head, then rolled her eyes and sighed silently at Copperpaw. He didn't hurt her! She thought, but showed no remorse when she padded up to the other apprentice. "You okay, Copperpaw?"

Darkstar picked Copperpaw up by the scruff, making her sit up. He stared into her eyes, searching for signs of disorientation.
