Spottedpaw padded in, knowing that she could probably catcha frog, easy. She sighed, frustrated that she was such a horrible hunter. She sniffed along the bank, then stepped back, wondering if it was safe here, "How deep is this water, anyway?" She shrugged to herself and dipped a paw in, stirring it around slowly, in hopes to disrupt a frog. To her pleasure, a large toad jumped up, almost hitting her. She quickly covered it with her paws and bit into it, killing it. She laughed softly, relieved that frogs almost never made noise when you killed them. She quieted again, flicking some mud over the frog. She sniffed around, hoping for another easy catch, when she saw a mouse scrabbling onto a wet stone. She took deep breathed, steadyign herself and crouched down, keeping her weight at her haunches, like Flickerstar said. She slowly walked forward, keeping her tail low to steady herself, but the mouse looked up, noticing her. and darted away. She sat up, scowling ," What did I do wrong?". Frustrated and ashamed, she picked up the frog and headed back to camp.
