With a quick nod to Patchstar as he looked to the new warriors before walking into his den, Bluefeather shook the anticipation out of her shoulders, a wide grin on her face as she thought Finally! A warrior! Beside her, she could see Heavygaze, and gave him a slight nudge and a smile. And on her right, she could scent the other new warrior, sitting still and quietly, not even able to hear the she-cats breath.

Heavygaze let his golden eyes drift to Bluefeather. For some reason his heart started to race when he looked at her. What is this feeling? Am I sick? he though with a frown

Almost as if Star Clan themselves had planned it, Bluefeather had caught Heavygaze's amber gaze. She couldn't look away, and her eyes shone with great sympathy. "I'm so, so sorry for your loss, Heavygaze," she mouthed, wondering if he would be able to understand her. "I know your mother meant so much to you."

He understood her and scowled. "I don't need your sympathy." he mounted back, turning away from her.

With a hard stare, she thought, It looks like it, Heavygaze. She then proceeded to get up and walk over to the Highrock, mewing, "Patchstar, it's late, shouldn't you all get back to your dens?"

Clearing his throat, Patchstar mewed, "Why, yes of course. Everyone, we can continue this tomorrow!" He leapt off the Highrock, approaching Wolfsoul. "You can spend the night in the apprentice den. It'll be quiet enough there for you, and it'll give us some time to make you a nest for tomorrow." Then, with a look to the new warriors, he mewed, "Now, back to your vigil's please." He then gave Wolfsoul's shoulder a lick, mewing, "Welcome back. You were greatly missed," then padded into his den.

"Thank you, Patchstar."Wolfsoul smiled. he then gave his son an affectionate nudge goodnight and went to sleep in the apprentice's den.

Crowkit padded out and sat beside his sister. He couldn't sleep but there wasn't much of a reason. He leaned on Bluefeather and purred. "You are getting OLD"
