Watching all the cats chase each other around the clearing, he turned around, his nose in the air, and ran straight into Halfmoon. "Oh," he squeaked, lowering his sight to his paws in embarrassment. "Sorry."

The little black and white tom saw the tail flickering from the corner of his eyes, and with a thanks-filled glance to the she-cat, he stalked quietly to her tail, and gave it a swat, flattening it on the ground.
