Clearing

*Slashstar padded calmly through the camp, to her den, a content purr rumbling in her throat*

*Hawkclaw ran in, dropping a mouse on the freshkill pile.*

*Stumpkit ran into Hawkclaw, bouncing excitedly* Can you take me an Smokekit out, now?

She padded after Stumpkit, but didn't look at the bigger cat Hawkclaw. Smokekit nodded in agreement.

*Hawkclaw laughed, nodding* You brought a friend? Well, the more the merrier. *He stood up and walked beside Stumpkit to the entrance*

*Stumpkit giggled giddily* I love going out of camp. Do you think I'll catch anything? *He looked back at Smokekit*

She caught up to the two cats. "Maybe, if you're lucky..." Smokekit looked around at camp as they headed out.

MothWing padded in.

Slashstar looked over at the elder and dipped her head in greeting.

She returned the greeting, tipping her head.

Hawkclaw padded into camp, keeping a close eye on the 3 kits behind him. Stumpkit grinned to himself, jumping after Hawklaw excitedly.

Brook hid nervously behind HawkClaw.

*pineclaw padded in, finding enjoyment in each step.*

Slashstar glanced at Hawkclaw curiously, staring at Brook. She stood and trotted over to him, blinking, "Who is this?"
"We found her at the Boulder Pool. Her name's Brook."

Brook blinked and stepped out curiously, wanting to see the leader.

Slashstar looked down at the kit, blinking carefully, "And she wants to join the clan?"

*pineclaw saw the kit and padded over and looked at the kit with big eyes.*

Stumpkit jumped over to her and grinned, prodding her with a paw, "Pineclaw! That's Brook! She might join our clan!"

She let out a small squeal and hid behind HawkClaw again.

Dustflight padded into camp, seeing the strange cat. "Who is this?" he asked, a little loudly.

Hawkclaw glanced back at the kit, then looked up at Slashstar, "Well?" She frowned in thought and nodded to the kit, "Let's discuss this in my den." She stood and walked to her den, slipping in. Hawkclaw nodded and walked after her, looking back at Brook.

Stumpkit ran over to Dustflight, grinning, "That's Brook! She might join our clan!"

Brook looked around, wondering if she should follow them.

Hawkclaw nodded to the kit, "Come on."

He dipped his head briefly at Brook, "Well, it's nice to meet you!"

She blinked shyly, not answering the tom and followed HawkClaw.

Dustflight frowned at her silence, flattening his ears as he watched her follow the warrior.
