Nursery

First topic message reminder :

Foxkit paces back and forth and then peeks her head out of the nursery.

"He-hello," Goldkit says shyly. "It's nice to see a new face around here. What's your name?" she says softly.

She blinked an hesitated as she was quite shy as well. "I-I'm Hailkit."

She purrs. "Oh, and I'm Goldkit," she says no more shyly than she was already. "I like your name,"

Hailkit twitched her whisker, slightly embarrassed. "Thanks. I like your name too." :3

Tumblekit sucks his paw hungrily teething on it. He mews taking his paw from his mouth finding it cut by his sharp little teeth.

(Mind if I join in? O3o Polarflight is interested in the kits ^^)

Polarflight ducked into the nursery and slipped in. She blinked, eyes adjusting to the dim light.

Tumblekit lifts his head catching a strange scent. He stands up heading towards it curiously. He sits down looking at the big cat before running over. He searches the big cat's paws for foods sniffing under each of them.

Polarflight twitched her ears at the kit. "Hello, what are you doing little one?" She looked at the kit with kind eyes.

Tumblekit: He sits down, his paw turning a crimson red. "Hungry" he mews.

(What do you mean by 'his paws turning a crimson red.'?)

"Oh? And how many moons are you? Maybe I can take you with me to the fresh kill pile."

(his paw is bleeding)
The kit tilts his head "Moons?" he looks confused. "how many are you?"

(Is it not hurting him? O.e Ouch!)

Polarflight suddenly smelled blood. Her eyes widened as she whipped her head around. She traced the scent back to the kit, and bent down to inspect him. "Nevermind my age, are you alright? Are you hurt?"

(I already covered the ow part)
Tumblekit: lifts his paw. "owie" he replies then licks it having seen other cats do the same to their wounds. He lays down resting his head on his paws, his jaw hurting from not having anything to teeth on. The neglected kit stares at a bug loosing interest in the conversation wondering if it would taste good.

Polarflight sat beside him and sniffed his paw. She instinctively attempted to lick the wound. "I can get you something to eat, if you would like." She looks in his line of vision, and spots the bug he is staring at. She looked back to him.

Tumblekit lifts his head excitedly at the sound of food. He sniffs at the air trying to find what the big cat was talking about. He then frowns staring at her upset that there wasn't any.

"I will be right back." She stood and ducked out of the den.

Tumblekit: frowns watching the big cat leave

Polarflight appeared walking towards the nursery after a few minutes, this time coming with a small mouse in her jaws. She set it down in front of the kit and looked at him with kind blue eyes. "Take this, if you're hungry."

Tumblekit snatches up the kit eating it. He wraps his little paws around the food when he finished he looks up at the big cat curiously. "are you my mommy?" he asks flicking his ears.

Polarflight blinked once then purred with amusement. For one at his appetite, then at the question he imposed. "No, I don't have any kits. My name is Polarflight in case you were wondering though. Care to share your own name?"

Tumblekit frowns wondering why he didn't have a mom when all the other kits did. "Tumblekit" he replies licking his paw. He teethes on the little bones of the mouse gnawing his sore teeth down.

"Nice to meet you, Tumblekit. Why did you think I was your mom? Do I look like her?" She sat beside him and looked out at the camp, then watched him gnaw on the bones.

Tumblekit: "All the other kits have mommas" he answers chewing on the bones.
