First topic message reminder :

Here is one. I don't usually write happy poems, but I was alone, and no one was trying to bring me down when I wrote this.. =\

Shout Your Worries
Shout your worries to the sky!
Hope that all the passers by
Will hear your yell, will hear your cry
And be able to sympathize
So shout your worries to the sky

Scream your fears into the sea!
And maybe you will find the key
Stop never-ending misery
A hero, that is what you'll be
So scream your fears into the sea

Sing your dreams into the ground!
Look at what is to be found
Beauty, bliss, they're all around
Reach up high, upward you'll bound
So sing your dreams into the ground

Shout your worries to the sky!
And then you'll see no need to lie
You'll know no reason to be sly
And all you know will wonder why
You shout your worries to the sky

Will post more later.

Empty Canvas

The curtain opens to an empty canvas,
Music plays but no one dances.
Children fight on through the rain,
Sinking low in their own blue shame.
Dewdrops fly and water colors
Red to summon those who flutter:
Hummingbirds to sip the dew,
Draining what is left of you.

Masked

At times I want to throw my mask away.
But then what would all of my people say?
They'd laugh then stare then wash me down the drain.
So I won't try to scare away the pain.

Golden Ice and Silver Fire

Witch's cauldron, lyricist's lyre
Golden ice and silver fire
Fox's tail, foreign spice
Silver spoons and golden ice
Crooning girls, Fluttershier
Silver blood and golden fire
Doubtful friendships, false advice
Golden spoons and silver ice
Civil warfare, sound desire
Golden ice and silver fire

Reaching Out

Inching forward just to meet the other
Reaching out to take each other's hands
Locking all the moments in a cupboard
Sealing with the flicks of rubber bands

Straying past to stick around the outside
Flinching at the second their eyes meet
Thinking what it's like to have a brother
Pushing forward one by one the feet

Watching ivy climbing up the lampost
Waiting for the time when someone cares
Seeing life for the present and future
Taking what the people want to share

Seeing all the silhouettes around you
Opened eyes to blink away the gloom
Face the challenge fate has set before you
Taping shut the entrance to the tomb

So what if you're strongest on the surface
No one's iron fully through and through
Like a silver lake ruined by ripples
At least you can be yourself and you

Singing in the shower for the tune right
Listening to all the other beats
Realizing music is life's rhythm
Trading victory to toss defeat

Mute

To be mute
Is to not have a choice.
But if I were to choose,
I think I would want
To be voiceless.

These are all old. ;_; Haven't written anything worth posting in a while.

Song lyrics I wrote. Or poem. Working on the music now.~

The Blindfolded

I just now realized
They’d all been tricks and lies
My friends had all pretended
Cracked too many broken hearts
From people long depart
And crushed the little hope of love being mended
My life was being ended
I woke at the crack of dawn
Won’t let bygones, bygones
They can laugh all they want
They can tease, they can taunt
Just know they’re not forgiven
They’re taking without giving
I know I’m left alone
I’m better off on my own
Tracing down a line while
Pretending it’s all fine
Though I know I should’ve known
I should’ve read the signs
I should’ve realized
Though brick or dust
You never trust
The ones who’ve always lied

I knew I was lost
But I still laughed it off
Tricked myself; it’s hide-and-seek
The lie, the spy, the coward’s sneak
I’m looking where the sunshine grows
Believing this is what I chose
I had a chance
I had a dream
And everything is as it seems

And then I looked again
I saw it and I grinned
It was all a dare
Every rip and every tear
That had started or begin
That forced me to unwind
Unravel and untie
It had made me think
It had made me sink
I still remained a laughingstock
And each lost dream
Unheard, unseen
Was forgotten with the clock
The hours moved, the seconds grooved
They never ticked without a tock
I saw it and I bought it
I trusted those
Who’d been despised:
I trusted those who’ve always lied

I knew I was lost
But I still laughed it off
Tricked myself; it’s hide-and-seek
The lie, the spy, the coward’s sneak
I’m looking where the sunshine grows
Believing this is what I chose
I had a chance
I had a dream
And everything is as it seems

I know it doesn’t matter now
What I think or what I show
What I should or shouldn’t know
There’s black
And then a blindfold
Spinning, spinning
Don’t look down
Constant frown

I knew I was lost
But I still laughed it off
Tricked myself; it’s hide-and-seek
The lie, the spy, the coward’s sneak
I’m looking where the sunshine grows
Believing this is what I chose
I had a chance
I had a dream
And everything is as it seems

I had a chance
I had a dream
Not everything is as it seems
