Button's Nest

The little ginger kit stumbles into her yard walking through the cat door. She tramples through the flowers that souround the nest. She plays in the potting pawing at the plants playfully getting her paws all dirty. The little kit giggles jumping out of the garden and into the grass. She leaves her scent all around the yard as she makes her way to the fence. The curious kit sticks her nose through the fence looking around outside her backyard.

BOO *the female warrior who came around the day before stood over the little kit, knowing she was intimidating*

The tiny kit jumps back startled. "Ah!" she falls onto her back in surprise and paws at the air struggling to get back to her paws.

*Hollow laughed at the little fluffball* you ok little one?

Buttons nods her head and stands back up. She frowns at the strange cat not liking being laughed at.

*Hollow realized the kit was upset* Im sorry *she bowed slightly* I didnt mean to offend you

The ignorant kitten watches the strange cat bow and tilts her head confused so she decides to copy her. She smiles enjoying this new game.

*the full grown warrior couldnt help but giggle at the naive creature before her*

The kit frowns again and stumbles away from the strange cat. She wobbles over to her ball and paws the colorful toy playfully pushing it around her yard listening to the jingle of the bell inside purring at the sound.

A golden tom-kit scrambles down the fence after HollowSong, having followed her, learning the borders of his territory. With a growl of excitement his trots up to his fellow kit.
"Greetings!"
The kit seems proud of himself for using such a formal word.

Buttons looks up at the tom blankly. She pulls the ball away from him. "Mine" she says one of the only words she knows.

*HollowSong looked angrily at LionKit* If your mother catches the scent of kittypet on you, shes going to kill us. Shell already be mad ive been visiting a kittypet kit *paws at Buttons ball and giggles*

"mine!" the kit repeats snatching her ball back. Frowns at the big cat.

LionKit crouches and springs, completely missing the ball and landing on a patch of fresh, dark green moss. He wads some of the moss into a ball and bats it at Buttons.

(you know you love HollowSongs mood swings XD) *Hollow watched the exchange in fascinated amusement*

Buttons looks at the moss ball curiously. She bites into it.

*hollow laughed* How does that taste?

Buttons: Looks up wide eyed "what that?"

*she smiled* its moss, its kind of like hmm *she looked for the right words for the naive cat* its like fuzzy grass *she giggled*

Tilts head "mine is better" she says rolling her colorful ball around

*Hollow batted it playfully*

The kit purrs happily jumping after her toy

*hollow giggled* your such a strange little kit *she batted the toy purring softly*

"Am not!" She frowns.

*Hollow shook her head* I didnt mean that in a bad way
