Darkstar leaps onto High Ledge. "All cats fast enough to hunt rabbits, please gather beneath High Ledge for a Clan Meeting!" he yowled.

(I made up the rabbits thing..hope it's ok lol)

Polarkit perked her ears up, standing with her friends in the apprentice den. Pumpkinpaw was showing her and Foxkit around. She heard Darkstar yowl, then padded to the High Ledge. Her fur was sleek and smooth, as usual. She didn't like for it to get messy.

Foxkit followed behind Polarkit, shaking as she was becoming nervous.

IceFang pads to the High Ledge curiously

Curious, he followed the two cats over to the high ledge. Pumpkinpaw sat beside Icefang, watching the two others.

He smiles and nods a polite hello

Darkstar waits patiently for the Clan to gather.

Pumpkinpaw flattens his ears to his hair out if impulse, then looks to Icefang. "Hello.." He mews, before looking away quickly.

Polarkit thought about Pumpkinpaw suddenly. He wasn't actually assigned a mentor yet, she didn't think. The whiteish she-cat stood tall, This must be our apprentice ceremony! I want Icefang to mentor me... But who else can mentor? She thought

He looked confused "Uh"

Pumpkinpaw shuffles his paws, refusing to look back at Icefang. Instead, he sets his gaze on Polarkit, his mind running with all the possible adventures they may have as apprentices together.

"Polarkit, Foxkit, please come here." Darkstar mewed.

Foxkit blinks her eyes shut tightly and breaths in deeply. She stands tall, puffing out her chest fur, and walks to stand beside Darkstar.

Polarkit's mind raced as she padded up beside Foxkit. She stared up at Darkstar, deep blue eyes concentrated on his face. She was finally becoming an apprentice. At the same time as her very best friend, the kit who was always there for her. She thought of Foxkit as a sister. We're going to be apprentices... At last!

Darkstar took in a deep breath. "By naming apprentices, we show that LightningClan will survive and remain strong." he paused, scanning the crowd of cats, he was sooo nervous!

Ice nodded and smiled, trying to tell his friend to not be afraid

Darkstar sees IceFang and smiles. "From this moment on, until she has earned her Warrior name, Foxkit will now be known as Foxpaw." Again gazing at IceFang, he continued. "Icefang, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to Foxpaw. Icefang, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of great courage and loyalty.I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice." he mewed clearly.

Polarkit flicked her tail, she turned to look at Foxkit. Eyes round, she purred. Icefang would be a great mentor for her.

He smiled happily and a deep purr slipped from his throat

Foxpaw's eyes grow round as she looks to Polarkit, She had thought her friend would have gotten Icefang as a mentor. Foxpaw shakily looks up at Icefang and then to Darkstar. "Thank you"

Darkstar purrs "No problem, Foxpaw." he smiles. Then he turns to Polarkit.

Polarkit's heart skipped a beat when Darkstar looked at her. Her eyes were wide as she wondered.

(YAY ICE IS SCARYISH)

"From this moment on, until she has earned her Warrior name, Polarkit will now be known as Polarpaw." he paused again, thinking. "I will mentor Polarpaw. I promise to teach you all I know." he mewed, his eyes warm as he looked down at Polarpaw.
