Tick tock,
Goes the clock,
Now its stopped,

it starts again.

Hear our words, listen to what we say,
Someone has died today.
Eyes of grey, worn and sad,
Leaving this world, free at last,
Stories linger but remembrance fades,
Someone has died today....

Everything appeared okay,
Until the tears came down,
The everlasting rain…
He fell to his knees,
And he pleaded to the skies above,
“May tomorrow be better,
Than the pain of yesterday.”
The rain continued to pour down,
The traces of his wishes drained away.
His tears scattered across the earth,
And gave birth to new dreams.
Broken families healed,
And children weren’t so alone.
But the man still cried,
And lived in a life of misery.
For his wishes healed all but himself,
If only he had looked up just once,
If only he looked around at the world he had healed,
Then maybe….
Maybe his misery would have ended.
But he only sits and cries for himself,
Living in the everlasting rain.

Bouncing back and forth,
Some days are good.
Others are not.

There is no in-between,
Nor are you ever perfect.
So few choices you have.

Pretending to be indifferent,
Its not that I don't care..
But there's no easy way.

You are dying.
There, I said it,
But I don't believe.

I can't even picture,
A day with you gone.
Without you on this planet.

Despite our anger,
No matter how I felt,
I always loved you.

For the moments of pain,
For the moments we laughed.
I can't stand seeing you go.

Why are you leaving me?
Too soon you are gone,
All in the blink of an eye.

We live in dreams and dreams are lies,
They change in shape right before our eyes,
We listen to their whispers and believe them to be true,
They trick us all, including me and you.

Would any one miss me if I died tonight?
I wish not to wake, nor to meet the day.
All I hear are the whispers and what they say.
I want to live within my world,
No one would miss this lonely girl.

But alas,
I've lost my audience.

Today is different from yesterday,
And I,
Im not who I used to be.
Today and tomorrow.
A new face,
A new me.

Who will I be?
I guess well have to wait and see.
