Camp Clearing

The camp clearing is surrounded by a tributary of StreamClan's river, the land is fairly small with very few trees, the river acting as most of the Clan's defense. This is the wettest part of the territory, the center being the only completely dry area.

Emberglow nodded. "Not going to argue with that." She mumbled and darted off, looking for a place most of the Clan could fit.

*hawkkit squeals in terror as he sees the water getting closer.* *he darts out the nursery and stands next to Fledglingstar, paws trembling, and fur standing on end.*

"Hawkkit!" Emberglow bounded over to him. "Come with me!" The clumsy Medicine cat bounded up onto a fallen tree sticking out above the water. "Can you make it?"

The water begins to flow even more quickly. It now covers the whole of the camp, and is up to the cats' ankles on low ground.

Emberglow tripped over her paws, angry at her own clumsiness.

hawkkit mewed and the water was up to his muzzle, and he struggled as he waded to the branch he sticks his paw out the water as he shouts his loudest to emberglow. "Ember!!! i'm here!!!" he waves his paw, signaling her to pull him up.

The medicine cat scrambled up to him and yanked him up.by his scruff.

he whimpers as he's yanked up, water dripping from his lower body. he grips to the branch panicking as he looks back at ember. "Emberglow, what are we gonna do?"

Fledglingstar glances briefly at the rising water. "I'm going to find someplace away from camp! There may be higher ground someone else!"

hawkkit hears the brief shout and looks towards fledlingstar.

"Just be calm." She sighs. "Alright, Fledglingstar."

hawkkit nods and sighs, looking down at the rising water. he closes his eyes and tries to ignore it.

Emberglow locked.the kit between the ears, looking at the water.

he smiles when he feels the lick on his head and opens his eyes, the water rising slowly. "when is it going to stop?" he looks at emberglow with worried eyes.

"I don't know, little one. But don't worry.r

He nods and watches the water.

hawkkit glances up at venom and flicks his whiskers. "hey!" where dow here!" he looks up at him.

Hawkkit nodded. "okay!" he looked back at the water, no directly beneath him, and rising. He mewed and his tail was flicking nervously. "ahhh! The water!" he howled.

"Calm.down little one." Ember nudges him up the branch.

Fledglingstar burst into the clearing. "Guys! I think I found somewhere safer!" she meowed.

"Thank StarClan....." Emberglow sighed.

HollowSpirit shivered in the nursery, curled around her kits. This wasn't a very good start for her in her new clan.

Mothkit pokes her head out from under HollowSpirit. She shows off a goofy grin enjoying the warmth from her mother's warm fur.
