Wolf's Stroll.

A handsome and muscular tom padded by, his long-haired brown tabby pelt shining in the sunlight. His amber eyes darted from one side to the other, flickering apprehensively.

"Nah, I'm not as fragile as I look, Wolf." she grinned, brushed her tail long his cheek teasingly.

"You don't seem very able to fight. Wolf laughed lightly. When her tail came in contact with his cheek, he felt his heart beat faster. He closed his eyes and let out an uncharacteristically dreamy purr.

"Oh really?" she mewed, she was surprised when he purred.

He immediately stopped purring. "I... Uhh..."

Angel arched and eyebrow. "Just because I'm a she-cat, doesn't mean I couldn't take you down, Wolf." she said, her muzzle nearing his. Her pale amber eyes were ablaze with a hint of anger.

Wolf remained his ground, his amber eyes flashing coolly. "Maybe you can't take me down."

"And maybe I can." she said evenly though her voice rose. Angel hated it when she was under estimated.

Wolf stood taller. "Try me."

Angel unsheathed her claws and hissed, clawing his cheek. She didn't want to hurt him, but she was angry.

He leaped back instantly, blood dripping from his cheek, but a faint smirk still played on his lips.

Tears formed in Angel's eyes. She backed away, sad that she had hurt one of her only friends. "I don't want to fight you...."

Wolf was taken back. "I..."

Angel looked at her paws. She couldn't tell him that she loved him, could she? He'd hate her...

He shuffled his paws. "Angel... Thanks for being such a good friend."

Angel looked up at him, longing in her eyes. It was only there for a moment before she make her eyes unreadable. She couldn't speak, so she just smiled.

Wolf peered at you, his amber eyes glinting with a clouded expression.

Angel was worried. "Are you ok?" she asked. His cheek was still bleeding, so she licked it gently.

Wolf felt his body heat up, but his inability to express any complex emotions took over him and he backed away. "W-What are you doing?"

"Your cheek was bleeding. I was trying to stop it...sorry if I startled you." she frowned.

He gave a lick to his ruffled fur, but he was starting to loosen up. "Oh." He meowed.

Angel smiled brilliantly. "It's getting dark." she observed.

He frowned at the sky, being his old self again. "Oh. I should go now."

"Do you have a den?" she asked.

"No..." He muttered.

"Great! You can stay in mine then!" she smiled.
